No accounts and no forms

You cannot sign up, log in or send us anything through this site, so there is nothing of yours for it to store.

No cookies and no tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.

The checklist stays on your device

If you tick items in the ten-point check on the home page, your ticks are saved in your own browser so they are still there next time. They are never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Fonts come from Google

The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser asks Google for them, which shows Google your IP address, as it would on any site that uses Google Fonts.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps short-term technical logs of requests, including IP addresses, to run and protect the service.

The guides are separate sites

Each local guide has its own address and its own privacy policy. When you follow a link into a guide, that guide's policy applies, including for anything you submit there.
