Networx leads cost for contractors: how pros pay
Networx sells leads to contractors. Its own pages say a customer request goes to a maximum of four professionals, and its help centre says leads are paid for from a prepaid budget. A directory listing is a different thing: a page about your business at a flat price, or free, with no charge per lead. Below is what Networx says about itself, then how a listing compares.
What Networx says, in its own words
Each line is quoted from Networx's own pages, as we read them in October 2026. Follow the link to see it in place.
One customer request goes to up to four professionals.
“We match these motivated buyers with a maximum of four appropriate professionals in their area.”
This page describes the cost as a small flat fee each month.
“Partnering with the Networx lead generation service costs you only a small flat fee per month.”
This page says there is no long contract.
“You are not locked into a long term contract, but can choose to discontinue the agreement at any time.”
The help centre says leads are paid for from a prepaid credit balance.
“The Shared and Exclusive Leads plan both work on a prepaid credit system.”
Each lead takes its value out of your budget.
“For each quality lead received, the value of that lead is deducted from the predetermined budget.”
Networx gives one example price, for a concrete lead.
“Concrete lead = $58 per lead.”
A job you do not win is not a reason for a credit.
“You did not win the job.”
You have 14 days to ask for a credit.
“You contact us more than 14 days past the date on which the lead was received.”
Two Networx pages, two descriptions
Networx's contractor page says the service costs a small flat fee per month. Its help centre says leads work on a prepaid credit system, where each lead's value comes out of your budget. We cannot tell you how these fit together, so read both and ask Networx before you sign up.
The help centre articles we read are dated March 2023, so check that they still apply.
What Networx does not publish
We found no full price list on the pages we could open. The one price in Networx's own words is an example for a concrete lead. We also found no figure for how many leads turn into jobs.
What that means for a small trade business
Networx says a request can reach up to four professionals, so you may be one of several the customer hears from. Its credit policy lists cases that earn a credit, and says a job you did not win is not one of them.
Some businesses do well with Networx. Others would rather pay a fixed amount each month and know the bill in advance.
Other ways to be found
A Google Business Profile is free and is the first thing to get right. It is what shows on the map when someone searches for your trade near them.
Your own website is the one place you fully control. Keep your name, address and phone number the same on it as everywhere else.
A local directory listing is a third. It will not send you leads the way Networx does. It gives your business a page that people in your town can find, and nothing is charged when someone contacts you from it.
How a Local Business America listing works
Every business in one of our guides has a free listing, with opening hours, a map and a link to its website. Claiming it is free.
Essentials is $19 a month and adds a photo gallery, an enquiry form, your Google reviews. Premium is $39 a month and adds a boost to the top of your category and a do-follow link to your website. The price is the same every month, and you can cancel any time.
A listing is not a lead service. We do not sell leads, we do not promise calls, and we cover a small number of areas so far. It is a page about your business in a guide to your town.
