About the area
Elkins
Elkins is a city in Randolph County, West Virginia, United States, and its county seat. It lies along the Tygart Valley River and was incorporated in 1890, taking its name from Stephen B. Elkins, the city's co-founder and later U.S. Senator from West Virginia. Elkins is home to Davis and Elkins College and the Mountain State Forest Festival, held in early October every year.
Buckhannon
Buckhannon is the only incorporated city in, and the county seat of, Upshur County, West Virginia, United States. The city is 46 miles southwest of Morgantown, 88 miles northeast of the capital city of Charleston, and 100 miles south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is home to West Virginia Wesleyan College and the West Virginia Strawberry Festival, held annually during the third week of May.
Keyser
Keyser is a city in and the county seat of Mineral County, West Virginia, United States. It is part of the Cumberland micropolitan area.
